Celebrating the hard work and dedication of those in the agricultural community. These Annual Awards are kindly sponsored by Brown & Co Business and Property Consultants LLP. The 2025 Winners are: Services to Norfolk Agriculture: Tim Papworth for the Aylsham Show Salver. Innovative Farming Award: Sam Steggles for the Aylsham Show Box. Sam Steggles is pictured above and Tim Papworth on the next page, both with George Ritchie, standing in for his wife Jane - the Show President.
The aim of these Awards is to recognise and promote businesses and individuals that are making a real contribution and difference to local food and drink. For 2024 the format changed and all food and drink outlets at the Show were judged on the day. The winners, who received the Ken Dye Memorial Salver, were Norfolk Mushroomery (pictured above). The runners-up were Chilly Willys. The Presidents Tankard (Presented by the late Michael and Jacinth Rogers) and awarded for outstanding contribution to Norfolk Food and Drink, was won by Mike Brown and Valerie Watson-Brown (pictured below). These Awards are kindly sponsored by Savills (UK) Ltd, Norwich.
Win coveted trophies and rosettes with competitions for cattle, sheep, goats, showjumping and show horses. There are qualifiers for experienced producers and fun classes for those new to showing, so there is something for everyone.
Popular classes and national competitions for goat breeds from the British Alpine to the Golden Guernsey. The Goats classes are kindly sponsored by Aylsham Plant Solutions, Aylsham and The Goat Shed, Honingham. Entries closed.
Showjumping Rings are situated close to the lakeside area of the Showground. Classes to suit all abilities with unaffiliated jumping from 60cm to 1m and British Showjumping affiliated competitions from British Novice to Foxhunter. All Classes Sponsors are shown in the Schedule. Entries Closed.
Show Horse Rings are situated close to the lakeside area of the Showground and include classes for hunters, mountain and moorland, Haflingers, Arabs, Shetlands, cobs and coloured horses and ponies. All Classes Sponsors are shown in the Schedule. Entries closed.
